About me

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately... I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life... to put rout all that was not life; and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. ― N.H. Kleinbaum, Dead Poets Society

Hello, I'm Dennis!

I love building things, designing them and approaching the challenge of arriving somewhere.

I think that the process of creating, of getting close to an idea, is so natural, it's almost as if the problems solve themselves once you try to touch them. The problems teach us about them as much as about us. How we are standing in front of them, how we deal with the frustration and also the opportunity.

I have always said that we have spent more time doing pottery with our own hands than we have in modernity. It was something fundamental in the structuration of modern society. We all have this embedded in our system: to imagine, to build, to form. To take ideas from our mind and make physical representations of them.

In our hands, in our minds, in what we do. What we choose to do. This is the most important thing in life, to reach the satisfaction of reproducing ideas, to approach with our own hands to build something from the imaginary to the reality. This space is to make a portrait of that, to show myself, to connect with the community, to recognize myself and to accept myself.

To be what I want to be. To be myself. To approach the unknown, to the frustration, and to go through and beyond.

If any of this speaks to you, welcome.
